We are the Highland Springs High Band Boosters and we are a support group for the HSHS music program in the Henrico County School District. We work with the Band Directors and Support Staff to provide special opportunities for the band students to perform by helping with support manpower and fundraising. We also help keep everyone up to date on what is happening with the band program.

We encourage all Band Parents to join the Band Boosters. Membership dues are only $10.00 per person.

We always try to recruit enough help so no one is overwhelmed. And we always seem to have an “expert” around who has organized an activity or chaperoned before to help the new parents. Our work helps the Band Directors and Staff focus on music and allows our students to participate in special events while minimizing the costs to families. We are actively seeking fund-raising projects and sponsors to earn money toward future trips and events.

As with most student organizations, the Boosters are a critical component of the overall success of the program and, more importantly, personal reward to each of our children. Please take the time to participate in whatever way you feel you can!

Band Boosters Meetings: A regular meeting of this organization shall be held on the third Tuesday of any month in the Band Room at 7:00 P.M., at least nine (9) times each fiscal year. Meetings will be announced at least fifteen (15) calendar days via email and/or the band website. Emergency meetings alerts via telephone, email and/or the band website will be made at least 72-hours prior to the meeting date and time.

On behalf of the Highland Springs High Band Booster Officers and Committee Chairpersons, we extend a warm welcome to all new and returning band parents. We encourage all parents to be actively involved with the HSHS Band Booster Organization by attending our monthly meetings and helping with all HSHS band events and performances.
