5 Tools for Continued Success
The items found in a tool box can be used to symbolize the different personalities that help promote our organization’s growth. Are you a tool in HSHS Band’s toolbox? Let us labor to create a better band program.

Hammer – Hard Work
The hammer is the hardest worker in the toolbox. From hanging a picture to building a house, it works hard to find a solution. Its vigor, determination, and stamina make it easier for everyone to complete their jobs. Are you HSHS Band’s Hammer?

Flashlight – Knowledgeable & Resourceful
Flashlights help you find what you are looking for. If they don’t immediately have the answer, they will assist you in the search to eventually shine light on the solution. Are you HSHS Band’s flashlight?

Tape Measure – Team Player
Tape measure measures distances, is flexible and can bend, and is available for a variety of projects. This member will always be the one willing to go the extra mile. There is no need to check to see if the tape measure is measuring up. Are you HSHS Band’s Tape measure?

Wrench – Creativity
When you find you’re stuck, you can always go to wrench to twist out a few good ideas. The wrench can always go a few turns to finish the job and come up with creative ideas. Are you HSHS Band’s wrench?

Wood Glue – Commitment
Wood Glue is all about commitment and cohesiveness. This person keeps the group together and focused on accomplishing shared goals. This person is a pleasure to work with as they are continual source of encouragement. Are you HSHS Band’s wood glue?

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow. - Mary Anne Radmacher
